Farhad Fozdar

Mr. Farhad Fozdar

Mr. Fozdar graduated from the University of Western Australia with an honors degree in electrical/electronic engineering in 1981, and subsequently received a Masters degree in 1987. He co-founded QPSX Communications in 1987 where he directed software development in network control and management, including protocol design and standardization.

He played a key role in the technology transfer to license partners Alcatel and Siemens, and from 1992 to 1997 relocated to Munich, Germany, as a consultant to Siemens for further product development.

Mr. Fozdar rejoined QPSX in 2001 as Technology Manager where he was responsible for technology evaluation and commercialization for clients including Telstra, CSIRO, the

BEng (Hon), MEngSc, Post Grad Dip Sc

Australian Telecommunications and other CRCs, and several universities. His role included interaction with patent and legal counsel on intellectual property assertion programs, as well as technical strategy and VC fund-raising for VoIP start-up Cortec Systems. He has also worked as a software development consultant in telecommunications, business, and scientific applications. He is a member of the ACS and the IEEE.
