Professor Hans-Jorg Pfleiderer

Professor Pfleiderer received his Dipl.-Ing. and Dr.-Ing. degree from the Technische Universität Stuttgart, Germany, and his post-doctoral fellow at IBM's T.J. Watson Research Laboratory, where he worked on systems for magnetically recorded signals.

He was then working with the Research Laboratories, Siemens AG, Munich, Germany, engaged in the design of silicon circuits, especially CCDs.

When he left the Research Lab in 1989 to join the microelectronics department in Ulm, he was director of the silicon microelectronics laboratory including processing and design.

His interests in Ulm are design of silicon circuits, ranging from technology oriented BiCMOS-circuits to systems oriented asynchronous circuits. He is also a member of the ITG board of directors and IEEE fellow.
